Shan Jiang started to make violins from 1990, and received his master degree in violin making from Central Conservatory of Music. Shan Jiang’s violins and violas  won medals and awards in the VSA (Violin Society of America) Violin Making Competitions. The Strad, world wide most famous magazine for strings, interviewed Shan Jiang for three times, he was featured in My Space and Double Acts in The Strad.  He is a member of AFVBM (American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers). Shan is one of the top 13 violin makers of IVCI’s 21st Century Violin Search. Many professional violinists, violin and viola professors, college students use the musical instruments he made.
